WORKHORSE is designed to live up to its name: familiar, reliable, and steady - built to lead your sound in a direction that will allow for the most creative freedom. Ethan has been using this preset for almost 2 years and has been meticulously dialing it in (around 20 revisions) for live and studio work. He uses the HX Stomp® for both amps and reverbs in his rig. This is the exact preset he uses day to day. For those who purchased TRA HX 1.0, this is the first revision of that preset.

Matchstick 1 L - Based on the 12ax7 side of the renowned Matchless® DC-30. We have tried the EF86 side in this position, however the EF86 has way more attack which doesn't pair well with most amps in the Helix® family. 

Placater Clean R - Based on the Friedman® BE-100. This amp has flown under the radar for a lot of people. Most people would put an AC-30 in this position; however, we have found that the BE-100 pairs extremely well with almost anything. 

The result of this combo is a punchy, familiar, and reliable preset that can be used in almost every scenario.
